This is music with attitude, establishing a dominant presence early on in the playing time, as well as a talent for frosted riffs and cold, desolate atmosphere. “Eremittens Dal” is an absolute meal for anyone wanting some black metal with actual meat, and it's quite the awesome piece to devour. Good solid stripped back melodic black metal with some occasional flares of technical brilliance. At times a bit Taake, it's a definite grower.
